Although there is no exact record left, The ancestor already opened the inn for Taisho era It seems they were doing.

In the 1950s I remembered that there were three inn in the village when I was a child.
Forestry and sericulture were the focus of the industry on the day, and there were few inn.

Speaking of the main guests, they were merchants who visited selling drugs and kimonos.

In 1955, Shinto shrine of Ieyasu Tokugawa found in a settlement became.

これが「家康の里」のはじまりで、栗山東照宮ができ、毎年10月に神事を行っています。

昭和40年代なると民宿ブームがはじまり、民宿が一気に14軒に増えます。
民宿組合もできました。

小さな宿だからこそ先祖代々、家族とおなじようにお客さまと接してきました。

たくさんのお客さまに恵まれて、お世話になって、今の大野屋があります。
